My first initiative if ever in involved in federal government would be to eliminate all federal funding for escalators. The truly handicapped use elevators. Escalators just waste energy and allow people to be lazy. Maybe I could start with some black paint. I bet the simple version without the electronic noise would also work. Awesome.

Obesity rates would plummet and music appreciation would skyrocket.
